The Directorate of Public Relations, FIA, organized an awareness session at Islamabad Model College for Girls, Korang Town, focusing on human trafficking and irregular migration.
The objective of the session was to educate young students about the risks associated with human trafficking, irregular migration, and fraudulent overseas employment offers. Deputy Director Mehmood Ali Khokhar and Inspector Ammar Mazhar briefed the participants on the importance of safe and legal migration pathways. Students were informed that irregular migration poses serious threats to life, leads to legal complications, and results in exploitation.
Participants were cautioned against fraudulent job offers abroad, particularly in the field of Information Technology. Over 100 students attended the session, showing keen interest and actively engaging in the question-and-answer segment.
The faculty appreciated FIA’s initiative and emphasized the need to extend such awareness programs to more educational institutions to inform a larger number of students about the dangers of human trafficking.
