Lahore: Muslim League (N) member Hina Pervez Butt submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly to appreciate the farmer-friendly initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The resolution states that this house appreciates the farmer-friendly initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and the Punjab government’s launch of the Agricultural Graduate Internship Program is commendable.
The resolution states that the Punjab government has started projects like the Tractor Scheme, Kisan Card and Super Seeder for farmers. The personal interest of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in the agriculture sector has boosted the morale of farmers.
The resolution also states that the farmers of Punjab, who were suffering from poverty, are now satisfied with the government’s agricultural policies. Alhamdulillah, now the production of wheat and rice crops is being recorded in Punjab. Punjab is leading the agriculture sector at every level compared to other provinces.
