Islamabad: A high-level Chinese trade delegation from the China-Asia Economic Development Association visited SIFC on October 7, 2024 and held discussions with Pakistani officials.
The delegation was led by the Association’s President for Foreign Trade, “Chian Chui Zhou” who was accompanied by members representing the Development Committee and various institutions.
SIFC officials warmly welcomed the delegation and gave a comprehensive briefing on the industrial development prospects, investment opportunities and salient features of Pakistan.
The delegation expressed interest for investment in key sectors including industry, banking, defence, energy, agriculture, livestock, aquaculture and healthcare.
The delegation expressed confidence in SIFC to facilitate foreign investment in Pakistan. The visit of the delegation will further stimulate projects between Pakistan and China under Business to Business and Government to Business framework.
