Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the government will bear all the costs of modern agricultural training of students in China.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding Pakistani students going to China to obtain modern agricultural training.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister directed that the selection of students sent for agricultural training be based on merit, and also ordered the formation of a committee to redress complaints related to selection during the scrutiny of applications from the portal.
The Prime Minister said that China is a long-standing friend of Pakistan whose progress in the agricultural sector is unparalleled. During his visit to China, he had requested the Chinese leadership for modern training of Pakistani students in the agricultural sector. The entire cost of the students’ modern agricultural training in China will be borne by the Government of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that very soon the first batch of students will leave for China for advanced training in the agricultural sector. A special quota of 10 percent of the students going to China has been allocated for students from Balochistan. He is grateful to China for giving Pakistani students the opportunity to receive advanced agricultural training.
