Islamabad: The government has reduced the prices of petroleum products, while maintaining the price of petrol at Rs 252.10 per liter.
A notification issued by the Ministry of Finance said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) worked on the price of petroleum products keeping in mind the fluctuations in prices in the global market during the last 15 days.
The government decided to change the price of petroleum products for the next 15 days.
The notification said that the new prices will be applicable for the next 15 days from December 16.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 3.05 per liter, after which the new price has decreased from Rs 258.43 per liter to Rs 255.38 per liter.
According to the notification, the current price of petrol per liter has been maintained at Rs 252.10 per liter.
The price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs 3.32 per liter, after which the new price has been reduced from Rs 164.98 paise to Rs 161.66 paise.
The Ministry of Finance has announced a reduction in the price of light diesel oil by Rs 2.78 per liter, after which the price of light diesel oil has been reduced from Rs 151.73 paise to Rs 148.95 paise.
