Islamabad (Timeline News) : A high-level delegation of the Global & Commonwealth SME Club attended the grand reception marking the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at a local restaurant in Islamabad.
The delegation included Mirza Amir Khurshid Baig, President (Coordination), Tahir Ashraf Mughal, Ambassador, Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club and Adnan Hameed, Director Media & Communications, alongwith Ali Raza Mir, Global Ambassador, Rana Mudassar Riaz, Global Ambassador.
Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the diplomatic corps, and Heads of ASEAN countries and eminent members of civil society.
On behalf of the delegation, Mirza Amir Khurshid Baig extended warm felicitations to His Excellency Pham Anh Tuan, Ambassador of Vietnam to Pakistan, and to the people of Vietnam on this historic occasion. He praised the remarkable progress and development achieved by Vietnam and emphasized the importance of further enhancing cooperation in trade, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange.
Tahir Ashraf Mughal, Ambassador of the Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club, underlined the strong and time-tested ties between Pakistan and Vietnam and highlighted the opportunities for business collaboration and investment.
Adnan Hameed, Director Media & Communications, appreciated the Vietnamese Embassy’s efforts in fostering people-to-people connectivity and promoting mutual understanding between the two nations.
The participation of the Global & Commonwealth SME Club delegation reflected their commitment to strengthening bilateral and multilateral partnerships, with a special focus on empowering SMEs and creating new avenues of collaboration across regions.
