French President Emmanuel Macron has strongly objected to US counterpart Donald Trump’s plan to forcibly transfer Palestinians from Gaza.

Emmanuel Macron, without naming Donald Trump, said that the issue of Gaza is not about “real estate” but about a political operation.
The French president added that the reconstruction of Gaza does not mean that the self-respect of the Palestinians should be hurt.
Emmanuel Macron continued his speech by saying that the Palestinians want to remain in their homeland, while Jordan and Egypt are also not ready to accept refugees.
The French President said that in such a situation, it would not be fair to evict the Palestinians from their destroyed homes.
It should be remembered that France supported Israel’s attack on Gaza on October 8, 2023, recognizing the right to defense.
However, the French President has also criticized the Israeli army’s brutal bombing, brutal violence and massacre policies several times.
Emmanuel Macron had said that he would always reiterate his differences with Netanyahu that such large-scale military operations target innocent and unarmed civilians, which is not the right to defense.
Later, France suspended the supply of weapons to the Israeli army in October 2024 and called on other countries to do the same.
