In the National Assembly, the funeral prayer of Palestinian leader Ismail Haniyeh was performed in absentia. Prime Minister Samir, federal ministers and opposition leaders also participated.
The absentee funeral prayer of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was performed by the assembly members of all parties. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar also participated in the absent funeral prayer.
Earlier, the National Assembly passed a resolution condemning the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh today. Speaking on this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the whole of Pakistan and Islamic scholar Ismail Haniya is in mourning.
