During the match against Inter Milan, Fiorentina midfielder Edward Boseri’s condition suddenly deteriorated and he collapsed on the ground during the match.
In the 16th minute of the match, Edward was sitting on the ground tying his shoelaces. As soon as he got up and started walking, something suddenly happened to him and he fell to the ground and became unconscious.
After giving basic medical aid on the field, 22-year-old Edward was put on a stretcher and transferred to an ambulance near the field. Later, the players left the field with depressed faces and the match was canceled.
According to foreign media, Edward has been transferred to the intensive care ward of the Cregi University Hospital in Florence, where his treatment is ongoing.
