ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal says that five new corridors have been agreed between Pakistan and China and the use of modern technology in the agricultural sector.
Addressing the forum of China-Pakistan political parties, Ahsan Iqbal said that the people and national leadership of Pakistan express their gratitude for China’s support and effective partnership on CPEC projects.
He said that the new economic corridors established under CPEC Phase Two are part of the ES5 framework. Critical to CPEC stability, regional connectivity and economic growth, the Gwadar port provides China with direct access to the Arabian Sea.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the government of Pakistan is committed to ensure the safety of Chinese personnel, industrial cooperation under CPEC Phase II will help Pakistan to establish new industries and increase the capacity of existing industries.
The federal minister said that the launch of Pakistani satellite by Chinese rocket has started new heights of friendship, Pakistan-China relations are beyond political changes and there is national consensus on CPEC.
