FIFA has lifted the suspension of the Pakistan Football Federation and informed Pakistan of the decision.
Sources said that FIFA lifted Pakistan’s suspension after the PFF Congress approved the constitutional amendments. FIFA had suspended the Pakistan Football Federation last month.
PFF Normalization Committee member Shahid Khokhar also confirmed the lifting of the suspension and said that the suspension was lifted after the constitutional amendments were approved in the PFF Congress meeting.
On the other hand, Chairman Normalization Committee Saud Hashmi said that the normal activities of the Pakistan Football Federation have been restored with the lifting of the suspension.
He said that this is a historic day for Pakistan football, FIFA and AFC will fulfill their responsibilities under the mandate, and it is hoped that a stable football structure will be formed in the country.
