Mumbai: Famous Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan has revealed that in the past when she expressed her desire to her mother, she threatened to throw her out of the house.
Director Farah Khan’s mother Meenaka Irani passed away on July 26 due to prolonged illness. Farah Khan and her brother filmmaker Sajid Khan are deeply saddened by her death.
According to Indian media, well-known personalities of Bollywood met Farah Khan and expressed their condolences on the death of her mother.

Farah Khan had said in her interview that the thought of marriage did not come to my mind till the age of 20 years, but when I turned 22 years old, I thought of getting married and when I told my family about my desire, my parents Everyone was very angry.
The director said that my parents were completely opposite to normal parents, they did not want their daughter to get married at an early age but they wanted to see me financially independent before marriage.
He said that my mother had threatened me that if I even thought about marriage, she would throw me out of the house.
Farah Khan said that mother said that I have to make my career and be financially independent before marriage, only after that she will agree to the marriage.
The director said that I think there is no standard age to get married, you should get married when you find the right person.
She added that I wanted to run away from my husband in the first year of my marriage because it was very difficult for me to stay with anyone.
It should be noted that 59-year-old Farah Khan married filmmaker Shresh Kander in December 2004. She became a mother of three children through IVF in 2008.
