Karachi: The rising actress of Pakistani drama industry Hira Khan made a surprising revelation about the audition.
Hira Khan’s interview is going viral on social media which she gave to a Pakistani magazine, in this interview the actress told the demands of the casting director for the audition.
The actress said that on the set of the play, my co-star told me about a director that this director needs a cast for his new play, he is a very famous casting director, so you should audition for his play.
“I took the director’s number from my co-actress so that I could show her my work because actors are cast only after seeing the work,” she said.
Without revealing the director’s name, Hira Khan said that when I contacted the director, he did not ask me for my work but directly called me for an audition.
The actress said that I told the director that I will come for the audition at 3 pm to which she said that you have to come for the audition at 11 pm and you have to wear short dresses for the audition.
She said that I was surprised to hear the director, I told him that I don’t wear bold clothes on screen and I don’t go for auditions at night to which he said don’t worry. Private auditions will only be seen by the producers and us, no one else will see them.
Hira Khan further said that I hung up the phone by flatly denying him and then told the whole story to another director of the industry, on which he told me that it was all a hoax and fraud.
