Islamabad: An Islamabad court has extended the bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aliya Hamza in the controversial tweet case.
In the District and Sessions Court Islamabad, a hearing was held on the application for interim bail in the case registered under the PICA Act against PTI leader Aliya Hamza on the controversial tweet. The application was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Majuka. The court extended Alia Hamza’s interim bail till September 23. Aliya Hamza appeared in the court along with her lawyers.
Aliya Hamza’s lawyers requested the court that time is needed to prepare the final arguments. Set a date for next week and will give arguments on the application for bail. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 23.
