Leading actress of the Pakistani drama industry, Salma Hassan recently participated in a TV show where she made interesting revelations about her personal life and family background.
While playing a game segment during the show, Salma Hassan talked about her mother’s background and her mother tongue for the first time.
She said that Urdu is not her mother tongue and because of this, she can sometimes make mistakes in words.
Salma Hassan said, “My national language is English because my mother was partly British while my grandmother was completely British. However, I know the Urdu alphabet well and can also read them.”
It may be recalled that Salma Hassan started her career with the successful comedy serial ‘Sab Set Hai’ and after that won the hearts of the audience by showing the essence of acting in many famous dramas.
Salma’s notable dramas include Pyaar Ke Sadke, Kahini, Baddaa, Mukho Pyar Hua Tha, Fairy Tale and others. These days, the actress is seen giving her best performances in Jaan Se Pyara Joni and Bharam.
