England fast bowler Mark Wood has been ruled out of the series against Pakistan due to injury.
According to the English Cricket Board (ECB), Mark Wood will not play any more cricket this year. He will miss the tour of Pakistan and New Zealand, hoping to return before the Champions Trophy in Pakistan next year.
It should be noted that Mark Wood complained of elbow pain in the series against West Indies this year. Mark Wood also played the Test against Sri Lanka despite the pain, but the test report revealed that his right elbow is suffering from a “stress injury”.
