LAHORE: Academic activities have resumed in all government and private schools from today after the end of two and a half months long summer vacation across Punjab.
As soon as the schools opened, there was a wave of happiness among the parents and students, the beginning of the educational activities was welcomed by the teachers.
Due to inflation, the children could not be provided with the entertainment that they expected, ninety percent of the children were confined to the four walls of their homes. Lahore children say that they compromise on visiting tourist places by putting their heart into indoor games.
On the other hand, teachers say that government schools lack facilities due to heat and other weather conditions.
Teachers and children have complained that the schools have opened but the government schools are deprived of educational facilities, there is no alternative arrangement for the supply of electricity and cold water.
The parents of the children say that the fear of dengue is also looming, hubris will also have to be fought in this rainy season.
