Just a day before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy, Indian team’s fast bowling coach Morne Morkel left the team in Dubai and suddenly left for home.
According to media reports, Indian team’s bowling coach Morne Morkel has returned to his homeland from Dubai due to the death of his father. Morkel arrived in Dubai on February 15 along with the Indian team and other support staff, where he also participated in a practice session yesterday.
There is currently no confirmation regarding the fast bowling coach’s return schedule.
The Indian team will play its first match in the event against Bangladesh in Dubai on February 20, later they will face the challenge of arch-rivals Pakistan in a high-voltage match on February 23.
