Islamabad: Dharki team Eco Education Tech won the eighth Enterprise Challenge Pakistan competition.
Mah Noor, who presented the idea of organic chicken feed from wasted food, won the King’s Trust Global Young Achiever Award Asia 2024.
Dharki Sindh’s Education Tech team, which won Enterprise Challenge Pakistan, the largest national entrepreneurship competition for students under 18, presented an impressive business idea to create learning materials for children with disabilities.
The team’s innovative approach highlights inclusion and creativity in tackling real-world challenges.
The event was hosted by the British High Commissioner in Islamabad, Jane Marriott, in collaboration with King’s Trust International and Seeds Ventures, and the final in Islamabad featured the ideas of five startups selected from across Pakistan.
British High Commissioner Jane Marriott said, “Meeting these exceptional young finalists and their innovative business ideas has given me hope as we head into 2025.
This is a real credit to Pakistan, no doubt these young people will go on to deliver even bigger projects.
Mah Noor, who received the King’s Trust Global Young Achiever Award Asia 2024, said that Enterprise Challenge Pakistan provided me with the skills to set up and run a business, I understood the concept of social enterprises and the sense of giving back to the community.
The program also involved government schools in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
