ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza says that Pakistan values its relations with Sri Lanka, and is determined to increase cooperation in bilateral relations, especially in defense and security.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was talking to Sri Lankan Air Force Commander Air Marshal Rajapaksa, who visited the Joint Staff Headquarters Rawalpindi.
Air Marshal Rajapaksa highly appreciated the high professional standards of the Pakistan Armed Forces, their achievements in the war against terrorism and the ongoing efforts for regional peace and stability.
Earlier, he was given a warm welcome on his arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters.
