Washington: According to the American Broadcasting Corporation, highly classified information about a possible counterattack by Israel against Iran has been leaked on the Telegram account.
The classified information was published on the Telegram account ‘Middle East Spectator’, and the documents are dated 15 and 16 October.
According to the report of the American broadcasting organization, these documents uploaded on the Telegram account started going viral, after which the United States has started an investigation.
A US official told the US Broadcasting Corporation regarding the sensitivity of these documents that they are classified documents that can only be seen by Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Canada apart from the US.
The US official said that these documents include details of preparations for a possible attack by Israel on Iran, as well as information on the transportation of weapons.
Regarding these sensitive and top-secret documents, the US official further said that these documents are owned by the Pentagon and are related to national security projects, and the authorities are investigating who had access to these documents.
