Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke to UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan over the phone.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, the two leaders discussed the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza and expressed concern over the proposal to displace or transfer the Palestinian people from their homeland.
The spokesperson said that the Foreign Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the rights of the Palestinian people.
The two leaders agreed to maintain close ties to achieve a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.
