Lahore: PTI leader Yasmin Rashid has said that democracy is being strangled and the voice of the people is being silenced in the country.
On the occasion of appearance in Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore, PTI leader and former Provincial Health Minister Yasmin Rashid handed over a letter to the journalists, in which he has demanded to take notice from the High Court.
Yasmin Rashid has said in the post that democracy is being strangled, people’s voice is being silenced, revise it, stop this cruelty. This cruelty will destroy Pakistan. You cannot remove Imran Khan’s love from anyone’s heart by cruelty and coercion.
He said that there is no precedent in the history of the cruelty endured by Tehreek-e-Insaf workers. On February 8, people came out and told the world that our leader is Imran Khan. Tehreek-e-Insaf stood with Imran Khan’s slogan of real freedom, stood and stood.
The former provincial minister said that the way the Form 47 government is strangling democracy will not only harm Tehreek-e-Insaf but every political party. History is a witness that whoever abuses someone will come back to him. Peaceful protest is the beauty of democracy, you cannot stop this protest.
The PTI leader said that you are forcing people to accept the budget made by IMF. The government of Form 47 is not acceptable to the people of Pakistan. Return the stolen mandate so that the real government can take the reins of the country.
