Karachi: BCB has received a legal notice after a murder case was registered against Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib-ul-Hasan in Dhaka.
It was sent by Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Sajib Mehmood Alam, mediated by colleague Mohammad Rafi-ur-Rehman, in a legal notice requesting the board to exclude Shakib-ul-Hasan from the national team for being named as an accused in a high-profile murder case. Shakib, who is on a visit, should be returned to the country to cooperate in the Blocker investigation.
A case against Shakib was registered in Adabar police station on August 22. He is accused of murdering garment factory worker Muhammad Rubel. is also a violation, he cannot be a part of the national team under the current circumstances.
To maintain the reputation of Bangladesh cricket, Shakib should be suspended from all forms of cricket, the decision will be taken by the new management of the board.
