On the occasion of Defense Day, a solemn ceremony of changing of the guards was held at the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan in Karachi.
Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan’s Chaik Wachoband contingent took over the duties of Mazar-e-Quaid Guards, Air Officer Commanding, Air Vice Marshal Shehrir Khan was the chief guest of the ceremony.
Air Marshal Shahryar Khan inspected the parade and laid flowers and prayed at the shrine of the father of the nation.
74 PAF cadets will be deployed for professional duties at Mazar-e-Quaid, including 61 male and 13 female cadets.
On the occasion of Defense Day, the ceremony of changing of guards at Mazar-i-Iqbal was held in Lahore. Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen. Amir Raza participated in this ceremony as a special guest.
Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen. Amir Raza laid flowers for recitation of Fatiha at Mazar-e-Iqbal, he also recorded his comments in the guest book.
