Peshawar: The top officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have decided not to give any concessions by setting a price on the heads of those responsible, holding the people of the area responsible for the violation of the Kurram Peace Agreement in the Bagan incident.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s House, an emergency meeting of the top officials of the provincial government was held late last night under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, in which the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other officials participated.
The statement said that the situation after the Bagan incident was reviewed in the meeting and strict notice was taken of the firing on the Deputy Commissioner Kurram and security personnel in Bagan.
It was decided in the meeting that the people of the area are responsible for the violation of the agreement after the peace agreement and those involved in the firing incident should be handed over to the law and FIRs should be registered against all those involved and they should be arrested immediately.
Provincial authorities decided to eliminate terrorists by setting a price on their heads. No terrorists will be spared, nor will those who support them be spared.
