Lahore: The Punjab government has decided where the mobile service will be closed on the 9th and 10th of Muharram.
It has been decided to suspend mobile service at certain places to maintain law and order and protect citizens. Mobile service will not be completely suspended in any city, but it is recommended to suspend mobile service only in procession and assembly areas.
In majority of the districts mobile service will be partially closed on 9th and 10th of Muharram from 8 am to 10 pm.
The service will not stop in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Khushab, Sialkot, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal. Mobile service will be restored in Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Vehari, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Okara and Chiniot.
Mobile service will be partially suspended in Faisalabad, Bahawalnagar, Hafizabad, Gujranullah, Narowal, Toba Tek Singh, Bhakkar, Mandi Bahauddin, Wazirabad and Rajanpur.
Mobile service will remain closed at 28 locations in Rawalpindi, 15 in Rahimyar Khan, 11 in Mianwali and Bahawalpur, 10 in Leh, 7 in Muzaffargarh and 6 in Nankana Sahib.
