Peshawar: After the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq, the Deputy Chief of Darul Uloom Haqqania, his brother Maulana Rashidul Haq has been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Darul Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak.
According to Express News, the funeral prayers of Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani Shaheed and other martyrs were held at Darul Uloom Haqqania, attended by thousands of scholars and Mashaikhs, political and social figures, and a large number of people.
On the occasion of the funeral, Maulana Irfanul Haq Haqqani, representing the Haqqani family and Mashaikhs of Darul Uloom Haqqania, announced a unanimous decision and announced that Maulana Rashidul Haq Haqqani bin Maulana Samiul Haq Shaheed will be the Deputy Chief of Darul Uloom Haqqania by consensus.
He raised his hands from all those present at the funeral and received the support of Maulana Rashidul Haq Sami as the Deputy Chief and Maulana Abdul Haq Sani as the political successor of his martyred father.
Thousands of scholars, students and common Muslims in the gathering endorsed this proposal and assured Maulana Rashid-ul-Haq Sami and Maulana Abdul Haq Sani that we will stand shoulder to shoulder with you in the mission of Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Shaheed for the exaltation of the word of Allah and the establishment of peace in this country.
The newly elected Deputy Chief Maulana Rashid-ul-Haq Haqqani, while addressing the funeral, said that this country is ours, our ancestors have made eternal sacrifices for its survival, our father Maulana Sami-ul-Haq Shaheed and my brother Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Shaheed also sacrificed themselves for this country.
Maulana Abdul Haq Sani said that we will never leave the path of truth, these explosions, attacks and threats cannot hinder our mission. He said that as long as even one member of the Haqqani family is alive, we will not leave the mission and path of truth of Maulana Sami-ul-Haq Shaheed. I want to give this message to the world that we will never compromise on religion and Islam.
After the funeral, Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani Shaheed was laid to rest next to his martyred father Maulana Samiul Haq Shaheed.
