LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested a close associate of former Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in a major operation.
According to spokesperson CTD Punjab, terrorist Aminul Haq was arrested after an intelligence-based operation.
Arrested terrorist Aminul Haque is the leading fighter of Al-Qaeda whose name is also included in the list of global terrorists of the United Nations.
A case of arrest of terrorist Aminul Haq has been registered and investigation has been started.
According to CTD officials, the CTD department is committed to rooting out the scourge of terrorism, following the goal of safe Punjab.
