ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has directed the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad to resolve the issue of permission to PTI to hold a rally in Islamabad, Justice Babar Sattar remarked. Where have meetings been allowed after? Citizens have to take into account the rights given in the constitution.
Justice Babar Sattar of the Islamabad High Court heard the case against PTI’s refusal to allow the rally. The court addressed the petitioner’s lawyer Shoaib Shaheen Advocate and said that you also do not believe that permission is given in one place and then it is not fulfilled.
Shoaib Shaheen Advocate assured that they are ready to comply with the conditions imposed by the district administration for the permission of the rally. The court addressed the DC Islamabad and said that your previous order was not in balance, it is better for you to resolve this matter, if you come next time, please give proper reasons.
Meanwhile, the court asked the petitioner’s lawyer whether the contempt of court case is pending in the Supreme Court, to which the lawyer said that it is a separate case.
