The Islamabad High Court summoned Adiala Jail authorities in person on Imran Khan’s request.
A hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court on the petition filed by PTI founder Imran Khan for restoration of newspaper and TV facilities, telephone conversations with his sons and check-ups with his personal physician.
Chief Justice Aamir Farooq heard the petition, PTI founder Faisal Farid Chaudhry appeared in the court and took the position that a miscellaneous petition has been filed, his sons should be talked to weekly, newspapers should be provided and a personal physician should be allowed.
He argued that the trial court did not write anything regarding the personal physician, challenging the order of January 10, 2025.
During the hearing, the court issued notices to the parties for response, and the court directed the jail representative to appear in person at the next hearing.
With this, the court adjourned the hearing until Thursday, January 23. The PTI founder filed an application in the High Court against the order at the request of the trial court.
