Beirut: Israel has confirmed the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s second most important leader, Hashim Safiuddin, in the Beirut attack.
According to the Arab media, in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Israeli army, it is said that the second most important figure of Hezbollah, Hashim Safiuddin, and all the people with him were killed in the Israeli attacks in Al-Dahiya, a suburb of Beirut, on Thursday evening. The head of Hezbollah’s communications system, Mohammad Rashid Skafi, was also targeted in the attack.
According to Israeli media, the attack was even more serious than the one that targeted Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. No survivors were expected from the attack, whether they died from asphyxiation or the collapse of the bunker. Hashim Safiuddin is a top leader in Hezbollah and the current head of the organization’s council.
