Karachi: The Sindh government has formed a 24-member committee headed by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah to address the complaints of Karachi’s industrialists and business community.
The 24-member committee formed by the Sindh government includes provincial ministers and police officials as well as 12 industrialists and traders.
The committee includes provincial ministers of the interior, local government, labor and industries departments, the chief secretary, IG Sindh Police and Commissioner Karachi, as well as the presidents of the Pakistan Business Council, Karachi Chamber and Abad.
Zubair Motiwala, Zubair Chhaya and Arif Habib will also be part of the provincial government’s committee and this 24-member committee will work on the complaints and suggestions of the business community.
Secretaries of various departments have also been included in the committee.
Earlier, during an event in Karachi, a businessman had referred to Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal about the city’s problems and said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz should give it to us and Murad Ali Shah should take it, after which there was a reaction from the Sindh government.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had said in a meeting with Karachi traders that if anyone has a complaint, let me know, which will be redressed.
