According to the notification issued, the inspector of Civil Aviation Authority can search any office inside the airport including body search of any person besides taking blood samples of the staff and in addition the inspector can search any vehicle inside and outside the airport. will be empowered to search.
According to the notification, the inspector will be authorized to get any kind of information from any institution and department and can also search the aircraft parked in the hangars of any airline.
On the written report of the inspectors, the DGCAA will be able to take any strict action, including suspension of airline operations, powers given to the inspectors in the context of implementation of safety and security oversight system in Pakistan.
Copies of the letter have been sent to all airlines and other concerned bodies for strict implementation.
