Karachi: The accused Saram Birni, who was arrested in the case of child trafficking and alteration of documents, was shifted to the hospital due to his physical deterioration in the court lock-up. While FIA submitted interim challan.
In front of the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Sharqi, the bail application of the accused Saram Birni in the case of alteration of documents and trafficking of children was heard. Due to the absence of the concerned judge, the hearing was held before the link judge.
Lawyers Safai filed a request to transfer the accused Saram Birni from Landhi to Central Jail, which was approved by the court.
The court adjourned the hearing of the bail application of the accused till June 26 on the request of the lawyers.
Lawyer Safai Amir Nawaz Waraich said that the accused Saram Birni was shifted to the hospital due to his physical deterioration in the court lock-up, while the FIA has submitted the interim challan of the case. According to FIA, the accused is accused of smuggling children to America by pretending to be abandoned.
