The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s offer for the Indian team’s participation in the Champions Trophy was allegedly rejected.
A report claimed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had suggested that the Indian team return to Chandigarh or Delhi after each match for the Champions Trophy 2025, but there was no confirmation on this.
Now the Indian board (BCCI) has rejected the proposal to send the Indian team back to the country after the match.
According to daily Jagran, a BCCI official claimed that the board has not received any such proposal from the PCB on the arrangements for Champions Trophy 2025.
He added that even if this plan was presented to him, he would not accept it.
Will India visit Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025?
India will play all their Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Lahore, with matches scheduled on February 20, 23 and March 2.
Earlier, the Indian team last visited Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2008, after which they boycotted cricket due to political tensions between the two countries, while competing against each other in ICC events.
Earlier, the Pakistani team had gone to India to participate in the 2023 ICC World Cup.
