Faisalabad: In the seventh match of Champions ODI Cup, Stallions defeated Dolphins by a huge margin of 174 runs.
In the match played in Faisalabad, the Dolphins were bowled out for 97 runs in response to the Stallions’ 271 runs. The Dolphins are yet to win a single match in the tournament and this is their third straight defeat.
Stallions won the toss and batted first and scored 271 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs. Babar Azam of Stallions remained not out by scoring 104 runs, Yasir Khan scored 46 runs and Shan Masood scored 34 runs.
In pursuit of the target, Dolphins opener Mohammad Hurira got out for zero, Sahibzada Farhan was the top scorer by scoring 32 runs, Asif Ali scored 21 runs, and captain Saud Shakeel scored 12 runs.
The entire Dolphins team returned to the pavilion after scoring 97 runs in 25 overs. Jahandad Khan and Mehran Mumtaz took three wickets, Abrar Ahmed and Haris Rauf took two wickets each from the side of the Stalins.
