ISLAMABAD: Chairman PTI denied the notification of cancellation of party membership of Barrister Gauhar Sher Afzal Marwat.
Barrister Gauhar speaking said that this notification is fake, there is no such thing. If there was such a thing, I would have known, I am the chairman of the party.
Barrister Gohar said that I will not decide to expel Sher Afzal Marwat or any member from the party. Sher Afzal Marwat is one of the most loyal associates of Imran Khan.
It should be noted that PTI terminated Sher Afzal Marwat’s primary party membership and demanded him to resign from the National Assembly as well.
PTI Additional General Secretary Firdous Shamim Naqvi had issued a notification saying that PTI has decided to terminate the basic party membership of Sher Afzal Marwat for serious violations.
This notification of cancellation of membership was also shared by PTI on the official account. While the core committee members also confirmed the cancellation of Sher Afzal Marwat’s membership.
According to the core committee members, it was decided in the core committee meeting that Sher Afzal Marwat should be expelled.
