Peshawar: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub has said that he can’t say anything about talks with the authorities or aliens.
While talking to the media in Peshawar, he said that the media is saying against us that we are not interested in talks, this is a lie, I was in the High Court yesterday and I am here today too, that’s why I didn’t go for talks, we have put our demands before the committee.
He said that the release of the arrested is our demand, we want a judicial inquiry into the incidents of May 9 and November 24, we want an investigation into the general elections, our people have been shot, our people are in prison and injured, there should be an inquiry into this.
Omar Ayub said that we want an answer as to why unarmed civilians were killed, on whose orders and who fired the shots, we condemn the decision of the military courts.
He said that the parliament is the pillar of the state, the judiciary is also a pillar, the decision of the military court will be challenged in the higher judiciary, the whole world is condemning it, we cannot say anything about negotiations with the powerful or aliens, the government is saying that we are powerful, it will be known.
Omar Ayub said that we should meet Imran, there should be no ban on it,
We should be allowed to meet Khan, terrorism cases have been filed against the former president, it cannot be that cases are filed and negotiations are also held.
He said that the process of registering cases should be stopped, those who have taken vehicles, Maryam Nawaz and Zardari have also taken them, why is there no inquiry against them.
The opposition leader said that he is not part of the government, nor is he their spokesperson, this government is of Form 47 or has been given, we want to hold talks with them and see their intentions, if the government is oppressive, we will also oppress
