Hyderabad: Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh’s brother and actor Aman Preet Singh was arrested in a drug case.
According to Indian media reports, actor Amanpreet Kaul was arrested along with 4 foreigners for using drugs. 5 persons including the actor were arrested from Hyderabad city of Telangana state.
According to the police, the Anti-Corruption Department received information from secret sources that more than 2 kg of cocaine was being brought to Hyderabad for sale, on which action was taken. Police identified more than 30 drug users, including actor Amanpreet.
Police say that the accused will be produced in court after medical examination. During the operation, 200 grams of cocaine, worth 2 crores in Indian rupees, have been recovered. Amanpreet Singh’s sister Rakul Preet Singh has also been summoned for questioning in 2021, 2022 and 2023 regarding drug supply and use.
