Islamabad: Issues of mutual interest and promotion of bilateral naval cooperation were discussed in the meeting between the Chief of the Pakistan Navy and the Chief of the Brazilian Navy.
The Brazilian Naval Chief of Staff discussed overcoming emerging security challenges and enhancing defense cooperation in both countries.
The Brazilian Naval Chief of Staff said, “We can improve the two countries through mutual exchanges of naval officers, while bilateral communication can also improve the defense of the two countries’ naval industries, in naval control.” The Brazilian Navy is very interested in Pakistan’s expertise.
The Brazilian Naval Chief of Staff also said that “Brazil is facing maritime security challenges for which we will need Pakistan’s cooperation. Strong naval cooperation will ensure trade between the two countries.”
Such initiatives at the diplomatic level will play an important role in the development of Pakistan.
