LAHORE: Bangladesh cricket team has arrived at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport to play a two-Test series against Pakistan.
Strict security arrangements were made on the arrival of the Bangladesh team, the visiting team has reached a private hotel from the airport in Hisar, escorted by the police and other law enforcement agencies.
According to the schedule, the visiting team will rest today and prepare for the series from August 14. After training for 3 days at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the Bangladesh team will leave for Islamabad.
The visiting team will enter the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on August 21 for the first Test match of the Test series, while the second Test match will start from August 30 in Karachi.
The Bangladeshi team led by Najamul Hassan Shanto reached Lahore and the team includes Mehmoodul Hasan Joy, Zakir Hasan, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haq, Mushfiqul Rahim, Shakibul Hasan, Laton Kamar Das, Mehdi Hasan Miraz, Tejul Islam, Naeem Hasan, Naheed Rana. , Sharaful Islam, Hasan Mehmood, Tasin Ahmed and Syed Khalid Ahmed are also part of the team.
All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, a key member of the Bangladesh team, will arrive in Pakistan from Canada.
