Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan has resigned from his post.
According to media reports, the president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, Nazmul Hasan, announced his resignation from the post after an emergency meeting of the directors.
Nazmul Hasan was supposed to join the Ministry of Youth and Sports virtually at today’s meeting, where he announced his resignation.
Former President Nazmul Hasan first took charge of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in 2012 during the reign of Sheikh Hasina Wajid.
Later, he served as BCB president-elect for 3 consecutive terms.
Najmal Hasan Papon was also an elected Member of Parliament in addition to serving as the President of BCB, he was elected MP from Kishoreganj-6 Constituency since 2009.
It should be noted that Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan’s longest tenure of 13 years has finally come to an end.
Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board’s Cricket Operations Chairman Jalal Younis resigned from the post, Jalal was one of the two directors nominated by the National Sports Council.
