ISLAMABAD: Former Principal Secretary Azam Khan’s recorded statement in the 190 million pound reference has come out in which he said that Shahzad Akbar handed over a file to me to seek approval from the Cabinet while declaring the matter confidential.

Azam Khan gave a statement that Shahzad Akbar told that the Prime Minister has instructed to present this confidential matter to the Cabinet for approval, Shahzad Akbar’s file was handed over to the Cabinet Secretary so that the matter could be presented before the Cabinet. handed over that file to the Cabinet Secretary, but I did not attend the Cabinet meeting as it was an “in-camera meeting”.
During the statement of Azam Khan, NAB also presented the statement taken by the former Principal Secretary during the investigation. Azam Khan looked at the statement presented by NAB and said that it is signed by me.
