Srinagar: One officer was killed and 4 officers, including a major, were injured in an attack on Indian Army in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Indian media, Indian forces were attacked in Kupwara district of Occupied Kashmir. The attack was carried out during patrolling. An officer of Indian forces was killed in the attack by unknown persons while 4 officers including a major were injured.
According to the claim of the Indian forces, one attacker was killed in the retaliatory action. The Indian Army has surrounded the area and started a search operation. Mobile and internet service has been stopped in Kupwara and nearby areas. People have been instructed to stay at home.
