Quetta: Unidentified armed men attacked the coal mines of a local coal company in Daki area of Balochistan, as a result of which 20 miners were killed and 7 injured.
The district administration of Dhaka says that as a result of the attack on the coal company, 20 workers were killed and many were injured, besides the attackers also set fire to the engines of 10 coal mines.
District Chairman Daki Haji Khairullah Nasir said that the attackers have attacked my coal mines and in this attack hand grenades and rocket launchers and other big weapons have been used.
He said that the police and FC were informed 2 hours ago, but no one has reached yet.
The police say that the number of deaths in the attack on the coal mines is expected to increase and several injured have been shifted to the hospital.
SHO Daki Humayun Khan Nasir has said that the armed men have united the workers in the form of gangs and fired while the attackers have also burnt the machinery of the coal mines.
SHO Daki says that 17 bodies have been shifted to the civil hospital while the remaining bodies are being shifted. Allah, 3 of Zhob and 1 laborer belong to Loralai while the number of injured in the attack is 7. All the dead and injured laborers are Pashtuns.
