Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has reserved its decision on the request to establish a judicial commission to investigate the murder of Arshad Sharif Shaheed.

The Chief Justice remarked that this application is related to the Judicial Commission, what is Pakistan’s stand on the agreement that has been reached or not.
The Attorney General said that a 5-member bench of the Supreme Court has been constituted and the case will be heard after the summer vacation.
The Chief Justice remarked that if a judicial commission is formed in Pakistan, can the investigation be done in Kenya, the Kenyan authorities are not bound to appear before the commission. The Attorney General replied that this would not happen as there would be difficulties even after the agreement with Kenya.
After the arguments, the court reserved its decision on the request for establishment of judicial commission.
