The judge of the Sargodha Anti-Terrorism Court has issued an arrest warrant for Umar Ayub, the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly.
After the warrant was issued, Mianwali Police along with Islamabad Police raided Umar Ayub’s house located in F Ten, but his arrest could not be made.
Islamabad police officials say that Umar Ayub is wanted in a counter-terrorism case.
On the other hand, Umar Ayub has said that Islamabad police and Mianwali police have raided my house, federal, provincial government and agencies want to arrest me, federal, provincial government and agencies want to arrest me.
