Army Chief General Asim Munir met Vice Chairman of China’s Central Military Commission Zhang Youxia at GHQ.
According to the ISPR, the meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security, measures for regional stability and enhancing bilateral defense cooperation.
The ISPR said that Army Chief General Asim Munir emphasized on enhancing mutual trust and cooperation, while Zhang Youxia praised Pakistan’s commitment to strategic partnership and appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Army against terrorism.
According to the ISPR, both leaders reiterated their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations.
