A Nagpur police official in India said that a man with a criminal record was killed in Nagpur after an argument over a T-shirt purchased online for Rs 300.
According to an Indian media report, the police official said that the accused Akshay Asole bought a T-shirt for Rs 300 but the shirt was not his size, so he gave it to Shubham Harne.
After taking the shirt, the victim started delaying in paying Rs 300. When the person who gave the shirt insisted on the money, he threw the money at Akshay Asole and hit him, which led to bitterness between the two.
The police officer said that on Sunday, Akshay Asole and his brother Prayag called Shubham Harne near the Korapath flyover and stabbed him to death. Both the accused fled the scene after the incident.
The official of the Mayo police station said that both the accused were later arrested.
He added that cases have been registered in the names of the deceased and the two killer brothers in various police stations of Nagpur.
